Ein menschlich und musikgeschichtlich sehr interessanter Song. Wie die Bildstrecke andeutet, ist der Geliebte, der zu Joan Baez sagte: “your poetry ist lousy”, niemand anderes als Bob Dylan. “Diamanten und Rost” lohnt zweifellos eine genauere Beschäftigung mit dem Text. Stimme und Musik sind sowieso sehr schön.

ja ein schönes Lied ist das und eine echt schöne Stimme hat sie (gehabt)

Hallo eG,
zumindest Joan Baez erfreut sich bester Gesundheit und ist nach wie vor “bei Stimme”. Erst vor wenigen Jahren bewies sie das bei einer Deutschlandtournee.
